UPDATE: Apparently the V3 TamaTown doesn't connect correctly, as it goes into an infinite load loop, while the V4 TamaTown doesn't let you go past the first prompt to enter the information. I'm hoping that there's a way around it, but as of right now, they seem to be working, but won't let people play. I'm hoping this is not the same for the V5 TamaTown.

You know how all the old TamaTowns got shut down? Well, now you can play again using the WayBack Machine (WebArchive). However, it will not work for the Music City TamaTown, as it will give you the "Connection has been lost" error, so I will not give the link for that.

V3 TamaTown: V3 TamaTown

V4/JinSei TamaTown: V4/JinSei TamaTown

If there's a V5 TamaTown, plus the V1 and V2 ones, I can update the post with those links. :)

The v4 link does not work Neither does the v3. You can get into the v3 but the moment you pick something it goes into a loading loop.

If you decompile the flash files you'll find that not everything is there - only the opening loading sequences are saved on the wayback machine, the external websites and files which the flash files would usually refer to have not been saved and no longer exist :(

No wonder the Music City one wasn't working either. I guess all files that were with it just randomly disappeared and no longer exist, like you said... :(

Yeah - I messed around with an old music city .swf file and while all the menu graphics and much of the programming is present there's also a lot of lines of code referencing external websites which no longer exist. There's also no sign of any of the areas nor anything else :(

Yet I thought I was making a good discovery... :(

Whoops. I guess there's no way around it. D:

While it's nice to see the HUB again, it's a shame nothing else works :(

However I've been thinking.

There has to be some way to figure out how the codes work,

I can verify that using the username of someone who posted their passwords and username does infact work, so they are definetly asigned value based on the letters and independent of the site itself, it is just a "vector point" to retrieve those values/passwords.

However no one seems to know how those values are actually asigned. But they do appear to involve both the letter itself AND the position it is in.

EXAMPLE.

A=1 B=2 C=3 D=4 E=5

B A D E C = 21453

May not be right though, since that is assuming that the values are simply letter based when it could actually be something like this

B A D E C = 32564

With the value of the position being assigned a different number addition to the letter's original value

Than we also have to factor in the value of the item itself which could then look something like this

B A D E C =43675 for a Pencil (off the top of my head)

Letter Value+Postion Value+Letter Value

-End of Example

That appears to be "roughly" how it works based on observing that One Username will work with the same passwords on Two seperate Connection V3s

Even if we had the same username on the tamas. I'm pretty sure that the passwords will not work for both.

Yeah they do, I am breezing through that list of passwords

The only ones that don't work are the gifts form the parents and the one that rely on the passport passwords

literally all others work
