Possible to have too many of the same Tamagotchi?

Hi guys! So I own 2 Tamagotchi P's so far (used Melody Land set & pink that was a gift from my sister) but have always wanted a green version because of how beautiful that color is.

I've recently found a local seller that sells brand new P's at a decent price and I was pretty psyched about it! However, I've also been slowly but surely falling in love with the gorgeous white color of the P's and was wondering if it would be silly to own 4 of the same versions at once. I've only been able to run 2 Tamagotchi at the same time so it's not like I'll be playing with them all the time, and neither am I a collector, but the colors of the P's are just so irresistible! I do have a few Deco Pierces for my P's so I don't think I'll ever get bored of them, especially with Mr Blinky's amazing VDPs to add to the mix. I just am indecisive on whether I should get just the green P's or purchase the white together since they are selling it at the same price.

TL;DR: Is having 4 Tamagotchi P's too many?

No way! Not at all, in my opinion. I'd say it shows how passionate you are! Besides, the green and white colours are very appealing. I'd say go for it! Or just buy one if you want. It doesn't matter. I've got four V4's anyway, and if I hadn't broken one, I'd have 5, and if I still had one from when I was younger, I'd have 6! So there's nothing silly about it.

Nope! Actually, it's totally normal to have 4 P's because they can do 4-way-connection!

Nah, it's fine to have lots of the same Tamagotchi version, whether it's for connection purposes or for the colors/designs. I mean I'd find it weird if you had like 6 of the same color haha, but what you're doing is fine. I have like 8 Version 4s haha.

I don't like to buy tamas with the exact same programming twice (and so far I haven't), but recently I bought a used P's, and it dissapointed me, because it was more scratched and used than it should. I loooove P's design and colors, so now I'm debating with myself if I should also get a new one. I really regret buying the used P's xD

About your question: If you really love P's and buying another one would make you happier than getting a different tama with that money, then sure, go for it.

In my personal opinion, no not at all! Ive been thinking of getting another 4u along with another iDL. Especially with connection features its worth it.

Honestly i don't think any amount of tamagotchis is ever enough but no i think it is fine to have all four of he same version! You may not be a collector but i agree the colors are beautiful and having all four could just be "your thing"! Ya know? I say go for whatever you want!

I have a white/pink one, a blue one and want a purple/pink one, if I can find it and afford it one day. So yeah xD If you already have 2 I don't see how 3 or 4 are too many since you can connect them all.

Personally, I don't like to have more than two of the same tama, since at that point, I'd rather use the money to buy a different kind for more variety. That being said, I agree with the others; considering they can all connect together and the variety of neat colors, I don't see there being anything wrong/unusual with having multiple tamas like that. It's all just a hobby anyway; as long as you're having fun with it and your wallet isn't crying, I think it's perfectly fine.
