It seems like a standard virtual pet, games and all. The head is a slider to where you can hide the screen and possibly take it with you. It also has a cord to where it can connect to another one of these pets. Very interesting. I might pick me up one of these...

 
Never heard of these because they're so obscure..And that's probably why there's no information found about it, either.
