Has anyone seen this V4 design?

I've been curious about this shell design- I can't find it anywhere online- I've never seen one like it before. I don't know if it's rare or not- I don't even know where I got it or how I got it- but here it is. Sorry for the terrible image quality and glare on the screen.

I've seen that one before, it's a nice shell. It's an Australian/Asian design.

The beads chain usually mean it's an Asia/Pacific (inc Japan) design (rather than a US or European design).

The design looks familiar to me too - but it's definitely not common.

Are you certain it's a V4 and not one of the other versions that also had the same ball antenna - such as the Entama/Uratama or Haneruchi2?

In the UK our V4 was followed by the V4.5 and most of the releases had the star shaped antenna but I remember some V4.5 tama releases also definitely had the ball antenna and not the star - this was at the height of the tamagotchi craze and BanDai were churning out tamas as fast as they could - so I'm not sure if the antenna anomaly just happened in the UK.

I'm in Australia and one of my active Version 4s looks very similar to the one above. It has the exact same pattern but with a different-coloured rainbow, a white background and a green ball on the antenna. Before I restarted my Tamas a few weeks ago I had no idea that there were regional-based patterns, but it makes sense to me now!
