Problem mating/breeding with an V1 and V2

Hi, I've been trying for a couple of days now to mate an V1 and V2 (connection). They have mated before. They are boy and girl. Both have four hearts. I even spent 3000 points on a love potion on the V2, nothing. They only play and make each other gifts. They are 10 and 7 years old.

Is there something wrong?

Although their ages may be showing 10 and 7 years, the 7 year old character may not have been evolved into an adult for enough hours to mate and have a baby - in which case it would just be a question of waiting more hours before you try again. (I've assumed that they have both evolved into adult characters and are not still teens).

Have you changed the clock time on either of them (as this can affect the evolution pattern and also when they will be able to have a baby)?

They are both adults, although the V1 minimun weight is 20.

Yes, unfortunately I have to pause the clock on the V1 and pause the V2 when I go to work.

The 7 years old has already been visited by the matchmaker but the other one (the V1) hasn't.

I guess I'll wait for the matchmaker to visit the V1 too and then try again.

Beside the age number, when is a tamagotchi capable to breed?
