Heeelp me!

I have just got back my tama after like 9 years of not seeing it. And i don't remember how to do anyting. I have an old one that is made in 1997 and it's not like the other ones. I dont have like any menys or notebooks or anything on it. And my biggest questions at the moment is

How do you get to choose your name and the birthday? I figured out how to turn of the sound and change back the time on this site but i never got to get to pick a name for mine or a birtday? They say it's on the same page as the time but i can't fricking find it!!! I have never tried to change the name an it doesn't say anything online on when or where you can get the posibiletty to do so. So please, if you know how to help me if you also have an old tama please write back im going crazy here!!!!

As far as I know, you can't set the name or birthday on a 1990's Tamagotchi; the first one were you could do this was the V1 connexion.

If you have a vintage tamagotchi (small, no IR port, made before 2004) then you can't set your username, name the tama, or input a birthday. Sorry.
