In the Day of the Life of Cecil (and company)

Well, I am back into logging. I wasn't sure if I would return, let alone going for another Oldie hatch, but here I am I have chosen to try again. This time I am trying with my recent acquisition bubbles V3. This was the last Tamagotchi I had purchased before I put a tama ban on myself (I had to save to move I am moving near the end of August I am getting nervous!)

Now I will also be logging my V2 as I have decided to do a generation run on my V2 alongside my V3 oldie.

I do try to update every day and I do have a log typed up (since I hatched my V3) so I will post those first so you get to read the story of Cecil (and his friends) in order. So stay tuned! Or stay chilling like a villain on a computer or mobile device, maybe do a google search or maybe watch a youtube video.. maybe an animal crossing lets play. Who knows.

[SIZE=11pt]I missed logging it just felt wrong after Raiden passed so here I am logging Cecil, I could end up doing a generation run or going for Oldie again I just haven’t decided yet. He started his life between 6-7 I think I will get exacts later. He was a crying little baby who was dazed and confused. He had no idea how he got in that little egg and why he was living in the world of pixels. He was a very cute Teletchi who loved to eat and poop. During the standard Baby stage he had his baby illness, he needed one praise and I being lazy in the baby stage (I was doing other things and playing get just wasn’t doable). So he got very very chubby. After the standard hour and 5 minutes (can’t forget his nap!) he evolved into tamatchi a very cute toddler with legs and stick arms. He enjoys rolling around the floor of his home, and balancing on the ball that we bought from the shop (all his bump money he made serious cash money). [/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]July 22[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Cecil has his time adjusted so that he is 4 hours behind and has his own time zone, it makes sense as he has his own environment ( a world of pixels) where he has his own shop which only holds 4 items and it restocks and certain times. His outer shell is the bubbles V3, and looks very oceanic. He has a shiny mew charm (I made it) my lucky 4 leaf clover charm, and a small beaded tama leash with a goldfish bowl on the end. He has a very nice home if you ask me. Currently he is still sleeping as in his time it is 7:38 am, tonight he should be 1 year old. Tonight he should also evolve into a teen (so soon I know). [SIZE=11pt]The store had a sale so with his very full wallet Cecil bought both a chest and a remote control toy! We tried to the chest first having heard of rumours of riches and free stuff and…. It transformed him back to his babyself and he was not amused! This transformation was so taxing on him that both his hungry and happy meters depleted completely! And at 8:05pm he evolved into obotchi.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Today we were lazy bones to the core (not the core that we have forgotten of course). We were a very diligent mayor of Haven, designed a fiery hangout spot for a phoenix (happy home designer) and tried not one but three patterns and only one made the cut. I personally am okay with trying out a pattern and getting a feel for it before I commit to making it. I like the colour combo… but I just didn’t feel the unique flavour that I aim for. I want to create unique, things from colours to patterns used. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Mondays...blarg. Enough said about today.[/SIZE]

Well he being a teenager and has decided to live up to the stereotype slept in on a monday and when he did wake up he went into the fridge and made the breakfast of champions a breakfast sandwich with a side of cake. After that he watched me while I worked all day, I made a chilling solution (literally it was chilling endothermic reactions are cold to the touch). I worked on a bracelet while we could got lost in the colours and found our way (he only mocked. Long sullen silence or mean comment it was his time for a mean comment). He seems to age later today. His age increased well after 8 pm...hummmmm…. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]My darling Cecil was a good boy today and we managed to fill his training meter!! He is 3 in the above picture and he should be 4 this evening I will narrow it down of when, as the aging thing is bugging me. If I am correct today he will evolve into an adult I wonder what he will become.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]He became a cute and cuddly penguin (billotchi?) and he is the most adorable thing I have ever seen! He has a cute heart on his belly and everything. There are quite a few ducks or penguin based tamagotchi characters on the V3 and this is one of my favourite bird like adults (birds freak me out). [/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]My cute chubby penguin and I had an interesting day. We made milk (fat free cow’s milk if you are curious) and I would advise against consuming it. Today he is 4 going on 5 (hopefully I will see if he is aging as he should (so far he isn’t hummm do I need to reset?) With our milk we stored it in the fridge, and incubated our membrane (that we transferred protein to) in it overnight (of course in the fridge).[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]He is aging later! So… I will connect him and reset and see if that works. He is 5 today and will be 6… eventually. His meter has dropped quite a bit (2 happy 3 hungry) oops sorry bud but I really don’t think that that will lead to his death… Or at least I hope it doesn’t. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]I realized I haven’t taken a picture of him yet. Well the aging thing has me all in a tizzy. SO here he is, my little… today I must call him susan and I have to respect his life’s choices (guess that reference). And he is showing off my latest creation I am loving this pattern![/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Cecil has a new friend, meet Albus on my V2. I have truly missed my V2 and it never ceases to make me smile. I think I’m doing a generation run on my V2. I connected the two and reset and downloaded Cecil hoping it would fix his aging thing we will see tomorrow at 6:30pm (my time not his). Cecil was downloaded back to 9 am his time so…. It didn’t save him as well as I thought but I hope this fixes his aging thing. So by 6:30 my time he should be 6.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Cecil and I made our first sale! Whoo! He should definitely be turning 6 today seeing as he did not turn 6 last night. So fingers crossed my connection reset trick did well the trick. So it’s almost 7 and he is still 5… dude seriously what the hell do you have Peter Pan syndrome? Have you decided to never ever grow up? [/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]HE AGED! Cecil is now 6 years old (my time 733 so between 705 and 733 he ages now. Okay then. Well at least he grows up! Now all he has to do is keep with this growing up thing and things will be fantastic! [/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Well, I suck Cecil’s hungry meter emptied this morning. I filled it right when he demanded for attention so I hope it has no impact on him later in life. Well, Albus didn’t fare much better both of his meters were half full. I am sorry I was finishing a bracelet and playing animal crossing…. Well Both have been feed with meals and snacks, and we have played games to drop their chubby bums down to a reasonable weight and Albus had a sullen teenage moment and needed some reassurance that he is perfect just the way he is. [SIZE=11pt]And while I was packing both had an empty meter two poops and got sick. I know I suck but I was busy… [/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]So he did not age at the time he did last night… does he just not agree with the concept of growing old? And because I was so busy with the working thing and the packing thing and the cleaning and throwing out the detritus of my life… that I took no pictures.[/SIZE]

I wouldn't worry too much about taking pictures because only an occasional picture is necessary for credibility. Taking a picture every day might add a bit more to your credibility, but what is more relevant is your consistency. You have been consistent and especially since what you have described in your log could reasonably happen (not to mention you write very honestly).

I'm enjoying hearing about Cecil and I hope he has a long life!

(P.s. Are you going to post in the Oldies Hatch thread? I guess it gets a bit silly since it would be more or less linking back to your log and UMR intended it to be more of a weekly check-up.)

@knighttchi's ballad Thank you for those very nice comments on my log! I do aim to be honest... I also use my log to keep track of things so I sorta have to be honest or I am lying to myself and that is just plain silly. And yeah I'm pretty sure pictures aren't needed every day (especially before he become's an oldie) but I know people like pictures with their log I wish I had more time so I can have tons of pictures in the log by tinypic or imgur? but I just don't have the time for that.. so I try to have an instragram picture a day (also that lets instagram people to see how he's doing)

And as for your other question...I think I might do small recap posts once he is an oldie and then post every 5 days to keep up to date but you are right it does feel silly when I copy from my log to post in the other log

[SIZE=11pt]This morning he was officially 7 years old meaning I checked him and he was 7. That’s not the most precise way to monitor his age. I think I am seeing zebras, or making something out of nothing. Today, I managed to finish cleaning the detritus of my life from under my bed and so on, it felt good I almost filled another giant garbage bag. All that stuff and I don’t have to pack it that is the sweetest feeling. I finished before noon! Now All I need is some more boxes so I can finish packing do some more cleaning and get ready to blow this popsicle stand.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Albus is 2 turning 3.. And I think he should evolve into an adult tomorrow. Also curious about the bracelets? I finished the globe one and have found several that I had started and have no recollection of them… I don’t know if I want to turf one, find the pattern and salvage the other one, and the final one I can’t find the pattern I can see how I did it… so there is that and there is one that I am planning on making for my jade bear charm (I know one for me it was bound to happen). About your previous reply, it's good to know you'll be posting in the Oldies hatch (although we've both admitted this will become silly) and I too know the difficulty of taking pictures (that's what will hold my logs back). Now more importantly, I find it rather odd that both you and Rjalda100 are having aging problems with the same shell design. I don't know if this is just a coincidence or perhaps there is some link between this shell and aging problems, which you both have noticed since you've been raising long-lived oldies.

@Knighttchi's ballad was she able to resolve her aging problem? As mine was not resolved by the connection reset download trick...

[SIZE=11pt]Well today is Monday… blarg and things weren’t so easy for anyone. See the sun is this bright thing that decided to shine right in my face and aggravate my headache that was minimal to extreme pain. It’s not late enough to see if Cecil is still aging at odd times, but Albus evolved into Hanatchi the first time I have ever gotten this one and one I have always wanted so bonus![/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Also today was filled with a headache so subpar care was given in that meters dropped to single hearts remaining is that makes any sense at all… And Cecil turned 9 at 1030 so the aging problem persists! Like a wart you just can’t freeze off.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Cecil is 11 today and sometime tonight (130 am probably) he will be 12. I don’t know if I want to connect to reset him again to make him age at a more reasonable time but I have a feeling he will never age at the same time twice in a row. Albus also got a care miss he wasn’t so very happy about it but what can you do. I love when he zooms up close to the screen he gets a pig nose.[/SIZE]

I checked Rjalada's log again and she ended up experiencing the very same glitch of her tama aging 1 hour later each day (also, she said she had never altered the time up to that point). She reset and downloaded her V3 and her tamagotchi stayed the same age for one day, but afterwards appeared to age normally. Since you have already reset Cecil once before, perhaps resetting him again might work. The only other things I could think of would be pausing him or putting the time back an our to see if that alters anything.

P.s. Your kitty is adorable! I would have liked that post where you mentioned him but since you mentioned your frequent headaches, I didn't want my actions to be misunderstood.
