Hi,

I used to played tamagotchi when i was young. Over the years, I'd never touch tamagotchi until recently, I saw Tamagotchi m!x Sanrio ver and i decided to buy it. Okay, I just bought it today. I was just wondering if P's is better or Sanrio ver is better?

I tried researching for english guide for Sanrio ver but it's very limited >< https://fuzzy-n-chic.com/content/7-tama-downloads-guides --> The website that I've found.

Thank you.

I don't have either version but from what I've read, I would say they are not really directly comparable because they have different concepts. The P's is like a normal Tamagotchi but with the addition of special add-ons that give a few different characters, items, and a location - perhaps distantly comparable to the Tama-go. The M!X versions have the feature of created a new kind of Tamagotchi that shares the traits of their parents. The goal of both versions is to enjoy raising a virtual pet, but the M!X sole purpose is to create tamagotchi hybrids. I'd say that the P's is to the M!X as a V3 is to a V5: the enjoyment of the version comes from their unique experience (the V5 and V5.5 are the only versions where one can raise three tamagotchis at once).

The P's seem to be recommended - even without the pierce add-ons - and I do intend to get one myself. But I also want to get a M!X version because the concept appeals to me, and the colour versions seemed a lot less intimidating once I began reading Popgotchi's M!X log.

As for digging up a guide, I'm sure you can probably find something on Youtube but if not you could try reading a Tamagotchi log for that version. I'm not sure if anyone has specifically started logging the Sanrio M!X, but I imagine that version would have a similar setup to the past M!X version.

Thanks for the advice! Really appreciated it:) Will wait for my m!x to come and try it out myself!
