Thinking of getting a chibi tama?

So I'm thinking of purchasing one of the newly released 2017 chibi tamas - however, I have a few questions.

1.) Can you name them? That's a feature I admittedly appreciate, but I have a feeling that feature isn't included.

2.) Can they die if neglected?

3.) How do they age?

In my understanding, they're a smaller version of the normal tama with way less features.

To answer your questions:

1) No

2) Yes

3) Daily, sort of.

The chibi/mini is a limited feature connection. The addage "it's more accessory then virtual pet" is basically correct. The A button does everything from cleaning to feeding to hitting the lights, and there is no name feature. This isn't to say the Tamagotchi is bad by any means, I'm running a chibi right now and I love it. It's just simple.

It can die of neglect, just like any other Tamagotchi.

Oh, also, to answer your last question, the Tamagotchi will technically age up by 1 every day, which influences things like evolutions, but there's no way to check this as there is no stats menu.
