Tamagotchi Mix Blank/White Screen?

Early yesterday morning, our Tamagotchi suddenly was left on this blank screen. You can still do everything with it (feed it, connect, etc) and you can hear all the sound effects, but the screen is all blank like in the image above.

Does anyone know anything to do to fix it?

Try reseting it and choosing download. I forget which one's download but if you choose reset, a screen will pop up asking you to confirm that selection so just press C and try the other option. Reseting usually solves most problems.

I tried that and it just reset my Tamagotchi, but the screen was still blank.

Did you actually see the reset and download options, as in, did sprites actually appear on your screen? If not I have a feeling you M!X might be having a hardware malfunction. Perhaps taking the batteries out and then putting them back in and selecting download might do something.

Nothing appeared on-screen still, so it's most likely the hardware. That really sucks for little Nenetchi. My sister and I were on like our 7th generation. Oh well.

You're welcome! I would suggest you keep your M!X anyway as a spare in a sense, since you could use it to connect to another device, although you might not know what is happening. I'm not sure if it is the M!X or the P's that has a three-way connection, but I have a feeling an extra M!X will be useful for unlocking other locations. I'm not sure about the market for Tamagotchi parts, but perhaps it could be worth something. At the back of my mind though, I wonder if your Tamagotchi might be fixable as the white screen reminds me of my DSI and DS Lite, both of which have hardware problems related to the screen, albeit a bit more serious (if the screen doesn't work probably it can't be used, unlike your tama which may still be playable).

I'll keep it just as a spare. I've ordered a new one and hopefully it won't be defective. It'll make it easier to get the towns that require connecting a certain amount of times easier since I already have one other Mix.

I'm curious if there's even any place I could take it to get repaired. Never heard of a Tamagotchi reparation place. XD
