Hello, I bought a tamagotchi off eBay a month ago and when I replaced the batteries the new ones seemed to be a bit loose. I played fine for two days but then the screen just went blank and when I pressed on the back it restarted. Now it won't last through a day. I placed some eyeglass pads behind the batteries to make the case for tighter but that only helped for a day before it reset. Any advice?

There are two things you could do, but only one might be necessary. The first would be to take off the back cover of your Tamagotchi and tighten the fours screws in the corners. If that doesn't do anything, then remove both the back cover and the back half of your Tamagotchi, tighten the four screws in the circuit board, and then reassemble it making sure to tighten all screws. A word of caution that tightening the screws underneath the back cover may reduce the slot where the tab would go, thus the only way to turn your Tamagotchi off is to take out the batteries.

What if you bend a bit more upwards the two thingies that hold the battery. My P2 wouldn't start, then I did this and now it's fine.
