Hello everyone, I'm Robin. A little background on me and my tamagotchi/virtual pet journey: I had an original p1 tamagotchi when I was 4 or 5 yrs old, but only vaguely remember it, I don't think I played with it much and don't know what happened to it. Then in middle school I had 3 random virtual pets, but again didn't play with them much. In 2014 my husband(at the time was my bf) got me a tama go. I played with for a year or two them put it away. I couple weeks ago my husband, who works at target, said his store started selling the 3rd wave of tamagotchi minis so he got me one and I dug out my tama go at the same time. In the past couple weeks I have also added an original p1 and a tamagotchi friends to my collection. Since I am currently not working due to chronic illness I thought it would be fun to keep a log.

After a short hiatus from updates this weekend, due to illness and holiday, I have a few updates to make.

I have decided to turn off my tamago and my tamagotchi friends for the time being. They require more care than I can give them right now.

P1: the battery died on Saturday, so I had to reset it. It's currently a 3 yr old Marutchi.

red/black mini: sadly Oyajitchi sadly died last night. It beeped at about 9 pm last night, 1 hour before it was suppose to go to sleep. I noticed the skull and attempted to heal it. After repeatedly pressing the A button to no avail and googling whether my tamagotchi was broken, I found that he was dying. After about an hour of him laying on the ground, twitching and the skull flashing, he beeped again, and the death scene popped up.

I am also now running 3 more minis: pink/yellow, blue/pink with yellow buttons, white/blue. All 3 are a mametchi.

The mini's are much easier for me to care for being that they are super low maintenance.

I totally agree on the fact that the Mini's are a bajillion times more easier to take care of.

I get sad when they die, too.

Also, it took me forever to figure out, that when they are dying, they lie on their face in profile view.

I would look at it and wonder, "What has it come to? Why does it look like this? I CAN'T EVEN MAKE OUT WHAT THIS IS."

May your Tamas rest in peace.
