Hey all~

I currently only have a P's, but I wanna start collecting Tamas more seriously, and was curious how those with a larger collection store theirs?

I would love to see pictures of your storage setup. :3

Oh! I never saw this was approved!

My sister gave me a clear caboodle she used to use for makeup to use for now, but I really wanna get one of the train cases made for cosmetics that has a ton of shelves (like this!).

I use a shoebox, but I wanna figure out some sort of wall-mounted peg rack I can hang in my collection room (Which is 95% Transformers, 4% Gundam, and 1% tama right now). I think it'd be cool to have them all hanging there so you can just reach up and grab one like you would a tie. XD

I just moved my entire collection from a drawer to a new storage setup - a closet jewelry/accessory organizer! One of those vinyl things with tons of pockets that you hang up in your closet and you're supposed to stuff your necklaces/bracelets/barrettes in.

Turns out the smaller pockets fit my vintages perfectly, while I can stow all three of my TF's in the largest pocket! The pockets are deep enough that my Tamas will not fall out while I'm rummaging around in my closet, and the vinyl material is also a plus as it doesn't harm the screens and keeps the dust away.

So now I can kinda do what you said, Hoky - when I'm grabbing my outfit for the day I also pick a Tama to take with me to work :D

Hmm... maybe I'll do that instead? Seems like you said - the vinyl would protect things better than just having them hang there. How does it look as a display?

^ It ain't much of a display, I'll be honest. While they're manufactured in a variety of colours and patterns, no matter what you choose, it's still some giant unwieldy shiny plastic-y thing just hanging there, kind of like a middle schooler's locker organizer. Depending on the colour you choose, it can also be hard to see what's actually inside those pockets unless you get up close and personal. I can post a picture if you'd like to have a look, but it's definitely not my first choice for showing off my collection to visitors or adding decoration to the home :p

Currently all unboxed one's are in a drawer. (Unless active). All boxed ones hang on my wall. Hard to find storage space as there's so many.

My collection is housed in our floor safe. Each item has its own coin purse (or something similar), and those are kept in plastic tote boxes. It's cool and dark down in the safe, and dry as well.

I keep my P’s and pierces in a small storage organizer I found at michaels in a craft section. It fits both P’s in little sections and I keep my dongle, Peirces, spare battteries, two crochet cases and a few charms in there as well. All boxed items and memorabilia is stored in a clear plastic bin and I also have a second one of those organizers for my Mixes. I’ve always wanted a display, but I really like having them all in one place because if there was ever a fire or disaster we can just grab it and load it up in the car quickly. I would hate to lose my collection as I’ve well over 100 Tama’s that I’ve collected over the years, plus Tama toys and other merch that would be so sad to lose.
