Which Tamagotchi is the best?

Hey there,

I wanted to ask you about your favourite Tamagotchi.

It`s my first Tamagotchi but I don`t want to have such an easy one. It has to be in english or german and I would like to have as many options as possible. A coloured one would be nice but this is not the first demand.

Any Idea where to buy? And how much do I have to spend for a good one?

For a color tama, an English patched Ps would be good; it has a lot of features without the pierces, which are getting expensive nowadays. Another is a V4; a black and white tama, has great games and job opportunities, and is in English.

I don't think german tamagotchis exist, sadly. In Europe we just got the UK versions. Though honestly I wouldn't focus on language so much- there's pretty much nothing to read on a tama, you get your whole experience even if you don't know Japanese. Sure, color versions have character conversations in the park, but.... All they say is basically gibberish.

I'll second that P's is a good choice, though in order to patch it and get other downloadable content on it you'd need an IR phone. Don't reccomend IR dongles since they're a hit or miss and in the end cost exactly the same. V4/v4.5's are good too, but a really good choice for you would be the Music Star/v6, I think- it's one of the more complex tamagotchis out there.
