I got my first Tamagotchi Connection game today. And I'm very, very lost. I read through the instructions and I never found out how to turn it off. Could someone please explain that to me. Because I really don't want to waste batteries.

Once you activate your tamagotchi it's there to stay! You can pause it when you get busy so that it won't die though... I assume that is what you are referring to... To pause it hold down both A and B.

the best way to learn is to look at the tamagotchi website, it is much more helpful than the instructions.. at the tamagotchi website you can see the tamas, and everything seems very simple. It tells you about all the buttons and actions. When i first got my tama, neither did i understand the instructions. i encourage you to take a look at the tama website. www.tamagotchi.com there are also several other websites that you can learn about your tama. Also you can not shut off your tama, you may only pause it. When your batteries run out, replace and then push the rest button and select the option download, and your old data will be back on. Also you may want to read about the characters on tama websites, just ask the people for a chart on this site and they will give you websites to one. make sure when you ask to state weather or not you have a v1 or v2, v1 is the older version and v2 is the newest version. there are many new tamas on v2, so the official tama webstie will not be helpfull, sorry. Also, dont try having kids yet, you can not breed until you are adults, and at least 5 years old. If you have anymore questions you can ask me and i will try my best to answer them. goodluck with your new tama.
