Do the US Connections not come with an extra battery anymore? I thought they did, but I just bought a US one and there wasn't an extra battery. Did I just get jipped, or have they stopped doing that?

It just seems that some came packaged with a battery and some did not.
Maybe just the very first wave had them?
Hard to say for sure.

Not too sure about that first wave being the ones with an extra battery either... Those did have a small sticker on the front saying that an extra battery wa sincluded inside... So I suppose it is good to check for that when buyng.

One other question related to this... The first batteries always ran out within 10-14 days... Maybe these newer ones don't have an extra battery because Bandai started including a better battery to begin with. Anyone with a Connection that came with no spare batteries have any experience with the battery running out right away?

Neither of my two Connections came with extra batteries...I've had one running for almost 2 weeks straight and have had no problems so far. Perhaps you are correct, Admin (and I hope so. Changing batteries is always a pain).

yeah, mine didn't come with a extra battery either.. i'm hoping its because these batteries last longer.

mine didnt come with an extra battery and the battery it came with lasted about 3 weeks

i got mine last saturday and it came with an extra battery, but then again the store i bought it from was like....almost empty, there was alomst no one there, so maybe they haven't stocked the ones without batteries yet (because i guess no one shops at that store) x__X

My Connection didn't come with a spare and it's going pretty strong, it's on it's 5th generation of tamagotchis, I think in like 3 or 4 days it'll be a month since i had it.

Both my 2 came with battereies! (but i have tama Connextion) but my friend (who has a tama connexion) came with no battereie

My batterey (that came with the tama) has been lasting 4 ages! im up 2 my 9th gen (almost 10th) and it hassent run out.........

i have four tamagotchis total. Two american, one plus, and one connextion.....i've had my american ones the longest and it will be five weeks since i've had them this friday....mine did not come with extra batteries.....im hoping mine are one of those w/better batteries like its been said or probably....their working strong so far no signs of probrable battery deadage (is that a word? jk).

The first wave of Tamagotchi Connections to hit shelves contained very defective batters that only lasted about a week and a half. A second battery came with the Connections, because they couldn't find a solution to the battery problem. Once the first wave was released, they were able to get ahold of batteries that would last weeks. Quickly the next wave, and usually the restocked ones out now, have a battery that lasts 5-6++ weeks. 8D

You don't have to worry anyway. Because the fact that it DIDN'T come with an extra battery, means that you bought a Connection that does not have the battery issue. 8D You'll be fiiiine. Let me trace back to the website where I have got that info, however.

Well im not sure if any 1 said this already , but the first ave came with an extra batterie because the battereis in side was me4ssed. It only lasted fot a couple days. Theve figured out the bug now so the new ones dont come with it

My mom got me a Connection for X-Mas. It has an extra battery, so is that a guarantee that it will run out fast? Should I exchange it for a new one while I can??

i bought one early and it had an extra battery and then i bought another one a month later and it didnt have an extra so i guess it was just for the first month or so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yea umm as u all know(lol) i bought 2 tamagotchi connection's one month apart and i think one drains batteries like a Fudging vampire is it true or a rummor?

I think it might be true. I've got one where an extra battery came YESTERDAY and one that didn't and I'm pretty sure the one that came with an extra is dying out already, the beeps are getting weaker and weaker... *sob*
