Tamagotchi Plus communication

Ok, I had no idea what to put for the title of this but whatever. Anyways, I was wondering if both Tamagotchi have to be at the Breeding Age to use the Talking feature? I tryed using it with my Maskutchi(Yes, it was my first one and I have Kung-Fu and I can't bring my tama into the facility.) and my Marutchi that I just got in the mail from Japan yesterday and the talking feature didn't work. Do they have to be at the Breeding Age? Thanks in advance!

haha i knwo u can use it before breeding age. but some people say they cant use it as babies. but recently, on my 2nd generation tamagotchis, they talked to each other. so i think they can use it a soon as u want

you mean the connecting feature?I'm not really sure what you mean lol but if you do..you can connect with any other tamagotchi connection no matter what age, atleast i can..
