at my walmart they stopped giving the spare battery out in the tamagotchis when they got the new shipment. Does anyone know?

I just got a Connection today, and I did not recieve a spare battery, so obviously something had changed. I asked this question about Battery Life in another post. 8D Suu. We'll see!

It seems that only the first wave of Connections had spare batteries.
Every one who is curious should start mailing bandai America and ask about the battery issue. I'm curious to find out if any one will get an answer and what that answer might be.
Be sure to ask just WHY the batteries do not last a fraction as long as the Japanese and European tamagotchis.
I've mailed before but one person is not going to make much of an impact. More people should ask.
