Can the generations keep going on if you take good care of your pet or does it just stop all of a sudden?

The most i've seen has been to Generation 10. I'm pretty sure it will stop at 99, if it will even go that high; you must have the best battery in the world. o: Anyway, the weight doesn't seem to go above 99, so most likely the Generation count will stop there as well.

The battery has no affect because you can just hit download when you put the new batteries in.
