Ok, at school my friends tamagotchi was walking at the top and the bottom half of the screen with a bird/chicken following it!!!!!!!!!!!!

...but what date is your friend's Tama set to? (Could it be a Thanksgiving Turkey if your friend's Tama's date is set to November?)
