This place seems reasonably on topic to what I have to ask. :unsure: Sorry if not!

Well I am just wondering ... Are the version 1's the same as version 2's where you can only get certain pets depending on whether your tama is gene 1 or 2?? (aka odd and even)

yep, half on one generation and half you can get on the other. There's no adult (or teen) character that you can get on both generations save oyajitchi
