japanese cell phone? DRAT! I don't have one. naturally. d'you think they'll release one for AMERICAN cell phones? or... well, back in like, june I managed to translate some of the text on the Japanese Tama website... said something about SOMEthing like this, only you'd download new items for your Tama from this little station thingy-ma-bob, y'know, it'd be in Mcdonalds or other fast-food restaraunts like that... any relation to this cell phone thing? I'm still confused...

Shadowed_Suit: In Japan you'll find mega Tamagotchi's in Burger stores. You can connect it with infrared to your own Tamagotchi I believ you can get food this way. There are also special huge tamagotchi's for the new Keitai Tamagotchi. They are displayed in Toy Stores in different parts of japan. You get different items depending on the town you live in.

I don't think they'll ever make it to America or Europe. I wish I had one, I would hug it the whole day ;-)

It probaly wont come to US. Tamagotchi's aren't that popular anymore. They may have tried it back in 97' but now they might think it would b a waste of money. Then again they might do it as an incentive for people to buy them but in my opinion they probaly wont. Tamagotchi's are alot more famous in Japan.

Aw man these tamagotchis sound awesome! It would be a good marketing tactic if they were to release them in America and other places, though, since it'd be more versitile and you could keep it with you in your cellphone. Hmmm. Why does Japan get all the cool electronic toys and games? Grrr.

Imagine lugging around one of those giant Tamas1 Heeehee. Someone would try and put it on a little keychain on their bookbag, and go to their friends and be all, "Hey guys! Look mine just evolved into an adult today!" and in the process of hefting it in the air to show their friends the keychain would snap and the giant Tama would fall, crushing their foot! Well, that's enough outta me.
