Mesu and Osu!

Hooray, I just got my Mesu and Osu pair from the absolutely wonderful ebayer and TamaTalk poster, Natasja! I obviously haven't played with them much (only hatched them a few minutes ago), but from pictures I've seen, they're certainly the cutest tamagotchis, in my opinion. For those of you who don't know, Mesuchi and Osuchi are older tamagotchis that were only released in Japan. They are mateable and connect via sensors at the top - much in the same way that the Digimon fight. The baby is amazingly cute, although unfortunately this isn't a very good picture:

And the sounds! I looove the sounds. Even the game is cute (and easy). I can't wait until I can actually connect and mate them. They're definitely worth it, in my opinion; if you ever see some for sale, I encourage you to get them! ;]

Thankfully, most ebayers sell them in pairs, so you should check there from time to time.

I'll try to take pics while they mate, but I'd need another person to hold the units together...They don't "click" together, so you have to physically hold them. But I'll at least take pictures as they change forms and stuff :]

I actually have 2 Connections going (Masktuchi and Gozarutchi), a Tamagotchi Angel (twins character), and my new Mesu and Osu :> I will have to pause all of them at various times tomorrow, though, because I'll have classes.

wow!....although, i had 8 running at the same time at one stage! lol....cant wait 4 ya new pics!

I've heard of Mesutchi and Osutchi! I always wondered what having them would be like....but you're right; They're so cute!! Maybe I'll get some... I juggle around my 3 Connection versions, and I'll soon be starting up my Angel version again! Two more would only add to the fun- especially if the were Mesu and Osu! n_n

I just started a clear orange and clear green pair.

I've never run that pair before. I just love their case colors!

Since I just started them yesterday, they are still young (duh). They are just past the baby blob stage.

They are big round things with mowhawks. ^_^

Awesome! I love those colors as well (although I am partial to the blue/pink pair, hehe.) I have had to pause mine rather frequently due to classes and all, because I don't like taking them with me. For one, I don't have a good carrying case and I REALLY don't want to scratch these guys up, and I also never have any time during a class to check on 'em. But I only have two 50 minute classes today, so I'll be able to watch them most of the time :]

In other words, I bet yours are going to grow up faster than mine, assuming you won't pause them. By the way, do you know what happens if you put the tab back in? WIll all data be erased, or can you choose to go back to where you left off, like in the Connection/Connexion/Plus?

Crap, I dropped both of mine earlier on the carpet...and now their sound seems messed up ^_^ It's got that raspy, poor electronic quality...

If you put the tab back in, there is NOT a download feature. They will start over again.

The download - resume feature is only in the new tamagotchis.

 

I hope the sound problem clears up on your pair.

Some times a battery change or reset can clear up problems.

Maybe the fall bumped the speaker placement?

You might have to open it up to see if things are snug and attached.

I think I may end up changing the batteries anyway because the screens are a bit light (I think they're the original batteries because the packages were unopened.) And while I'm in there I might as well poke around to see if the speakers are ok.

hi peanutbutter13, go to mimitchi.com and go to Mesu and Osu. Then u can read her loggs and look at her instructions and info. Also look at the animations!! im there all the time and i think i have atleaset read everything 6 times! lol hahahahaha So read there, it has heeps of info on them!

Just search for them on Ebay every few days. Jason's Store has them occasionally, too, and I hear he is a very good seller. But be prepared to spend $40 (including shipping) at the very least for a pair - you'll probably end up paying anywhere from $45-60 for the colors you like. The "cool colors" seem to be very hard to find and thus go for quite a bit on Ebay.

Oh, sorry, those figures were American currency. I paid about US$42 for mine.
