ok put your ear all the way up against ur tamagotchi
u dont have to do anythin special.. the tama can just be there wondering around

Exactly HOW - it's not working? Do the buttons blip when you press them? Yes: YOu're ok. No: YOu've either kept the sound off, or it's broken, or its fake.
I got a fake tama once that my cousin (7yrs) was desperate for me to have (he doesn't have real tama) so he could be the same as each other and the sound NEVER went off.
