Like earlier stated, it's an Angel version of the Tamagotchi (known as Tenshi no Tamagotchi/Angelgotchi or Tamagotchi Angel). These days, they're a rare collector's item and are well-sought after for any Tamagotchi fans familiar with some of the older Tamagotchi versions.

Unlike the original Tamagotchi, Tamagotchi Angels are improved with different characters, a touch-screen action when the bat tries stealing your Tama's food. The Angels also have AP (Angel Power, English version) or TP (Tenshi Power, Japanese version) in place of weight. It measures the amount of power your Angel has, etc.

I'm getting a Angelgotchi (Japanese version for $20 at eBay) for Christmas, so I'm hoping to do some comparisons with the English and Japanese versions. There are some Tamagotchi Angel information sites around the 'net, so you can feast your mind on the coveted Tenshi no Tamagotchi's features and changes.

they sound fun! lol.. 29$ isn't that cheap for a tamagotchi though, i mean i'm not THAT much of a collecter to get one for that price hehe

Dang, I must have missed it. I wish I could have gotten it. Angelgotchi is the only tama missing from my collection.

I never knew how coveted my Angel was until this past year. It seems it's high on every collector's list.
