I need Help!!!

I just got a tamagotchi today and I dont know how to turn it off. Do you turn it off? Please help me. I am so confused!

Well, you can't exactly turn it off unless you put the tab back in. But if it's a connection from the US, you can pause it by pressing the first two buttons together. That help any?

well, you're not supposed to just turn it off if you actually want it to grow and such...As Honahlee said, you can pause it, but this will also stop all growth. If you want it to grow quickly, try to avoid pausing as much as possible. If you've never raised a tamagotchi before, I suggest reading the instructions, as you will learn so much from them :]

If you don't have time to care for it and want to turn it off for a while, stick the plastic tab back in or take the batteries out.

ok but if I wanted to keep growing it but say I was going out would I just pause it? Or is this something you are supposed to try and do all at once? This is the first time I've ever had one of these. I heard that the old ones you just left and they turned off.

I usually pause mine when I have to go somewhere. I don't remember my old ones turning off, but it's been a while. But yeah, pausing is the way to go. The Connexions and the Pluses can't be paused though. Only the Connections.

If you're going out and want to leave your tamagotchi, pause it instead of turning it off completely. The old tamagotchis did not have the pause feature, nor did they turn off by themselves after not being used for a while.

this is the exacly question i asked when i first came to tamatalk then thats when i started playing my tama more often-well you have to pause it when your busy and cant take care of it.Then when you have to sleep turn off your tamagotchis lights and then go sleep.
