PM me if a proud Canuck!
Started CICI, a female tamagotchi yesterday. Two hours later, had started the other tamagotchi in my "True Friends" box. Restarted three cursed times due to getting another girl. Finally got a boy, and named him ANDI.

Fed and watered them. Played a few rounds of JUMP, discovering that; yes I do stink at playing basic tamagotchi games. Watched both of them evolve into a Hitodetchi. (Gosh, these things are ugly.) They plopped into bed at 8:00 pm.

Woke up today, and scooped some poop, and gave them a meal each. On way to work, CICI beeped, and evolved into a young Mametchi. Paused them as the noise level wouldn't be appreciated at work.

Unpaused them later in the day, played a few roounds of heading. ANDI was crying for no reason so I gave him a timeout. Connected a couple of times. Now CICI has three balls to play with. (How generous...) Smiled when CICI gave ANDI a poop. Fed and watered them, and used the cash to buy a stuffed animal for ANDI, and a tool for CICI. (The plushie looks like a panda, and the tool looks like a nail file...)

They went to sleep with the following stats:

ANDI

Hungry: 3/4

Happy: 1/4

Training: 2 bars...I really dunno how to train them, do I?

Age: 1 year

Weight: 16 pounds

Point: 80

CICI

Hungry: 3/4

Happy: 3/4

Training: 2 bars....

Age: 1 year

Weight: 22 pounds

Point: 0 pts

Here's hoping that ANDI will evolve tomorrow.

Oh, and caught CICI taking a bath. It looks vaguely disturbing with steam lines (four) around the bathtub. And she looks like she can hardly fit into the tub and make room for the water....hmmm...

CICI woke up at 8:00 am, and ANDI woke up a little later at 10. A couple of feedings later, ANDI had evolved into an Oniontchi. (Darn, I was hoping for a Hinatchi instead.)

*paused as to finish a pointless essay*

ANDI earned about 120 in pts with a few games of heading, and wanted to be praised/timed out for two times. CICI, on the other hand needed a few, poop scoops and a few feedings.

*paused to finish fixing cd burner*

Will be back later with more information!

At least, there are no more :D to look at!

Wish me luck on finishing an essay that's worth 1/4 of our mark!

I'm getting better at the timeouts/praising feature. Now CICI has 2 bars of training left until a full meter, and ANDI has one left to go.

They just woke up...and ANDI only has one happy heart left. Ummm....yeah...yesterday I discovered that tamagotchi can play more games if you feed them snacks.

*feels silly for not knowing that sooner*

Anyhow, yesterday both ANDI and CICI got a toothache. (It's more adorable than the tiny skull icon for sickness at least.) I was pleasantly surprised that Bandai actually put in a seperate animation for the toothaches instead of just using the skull icon for all of them...

Anyhow, won some points and splurged on a set of rackets for CICI. Yikes. ANDI just pooped...on the floor! Darn my environment and it's noise level...I want two potty-trained tamagotchi instead of constantly flushing!

I really want to see them evolve again. (Is it just me, or these V2 Connections are very easy to take care of?) I remember the P1 tamas were very easy to kill, if not by overfeeding, a toothache or five minutes of neglect. (Ah, I'm not complaining! I never got a P1 tamagotchi to last over 2 days...)

Anyhow, ANDI and CICI are going to be comatose for a couple of hours...so I can update a site.

Faced off against the matchmaker in a round of bump. Won against her, but lost against a spiked hair 'gotchi. Sorry, ANDI!

Anyhow, lemme introduce myself and my tamagotchi!

More info about ME (THE HUMAN):

I had several tamagotchi and virtual pets in my life. My first and favorite is a now defunct Dinkie Dino (Raku Raku Dinokun) imported from Japan. I love the shops in Chinatown, except for the extortonist prices for faddy things. This was my favorite for two reasons, it had a lot of detailed animations, lots of things to do...and it was a dinosaur! Cute and cuter. I played the silicon out of this one years ago, and now the right button has come out of it's cubbyhole. The reason, the designers had created a button out of rubber...and used a simple concept to connect it to the hole. (The rubber piece had a flat base, which tucked into the hole. It eventually wore out, and the button falls out.) Bad designers, you don't get a cookie!

Anyhow, I had a few more virtual pets (Pocket Pikachu, tama-sat a Digimon, a G1 Tamagotchi, and finally two 'True Friends' Connections.). I didn't get around to buying a new tamagotchi until a couple of days ago when I saw the cute new designs for the Connections. I immediately bought a camoflague (unfortunately, the pink and purple girly one) 'True Friends' package. This package held two tamagotchi with inverse designs on them.

Ever notice the packaging on any electronic thing is tougher to get open than a child-proof medicine bottle is for an adult human? Anyhow, opened one and tried to leave the other one for later. Apparently, I have no self-control over tamagotchis, because I opened the other one....I reset the other one three times for a boy. (I didn't want CICI to die a lonely death, did I?)

Anyhow, I'd be back with my logs!

That really looks interesting you know. Maybe you should stay your life with that.

Today I've played some games with CICI. She's doing okay, just filled up her tummy with some noodles and her fun meter with a couple games of heading.

I'm neglecting ANDI on purpose to see if that affects his outcome. I'm giving him praise and timeouts although, so yay!

I'm getting better at heading. I can constantly win the 100 pt prize for both of them. Bump seems inconsistant although...a few times I won the first round with no power in the meter. Anyone know why?

With the heading money, I've bought CICI a set of weights. (Well, it looks more like a dumbell, but that's ok...) I can't wait until CICI and ANDI can use the items that they bought. Also, I used some of the secret codes...and I got the rare costume. (Very cute although.)

Anyway, I like playing bump, you see all the other characters that are possible. Like today, I faced off against the matchmaker in the first round, and the second round was the male equalivant of the matchmaker. Weird, but cool.

POTTY TRAINING UPDATE: I keep missing poop signals. Darn work environment with compressors and other stuff! For instance, today I made a snack, and two minutes later, I see the "stink" lines when ANDI was going to poop - missed it by a fraction of a second!

Oh my goodness! CICI has just evolved into a Furawatchi. So cute, and so adorable. I want to kiss her all over and I'm gonna!

She was full on food, 3/4 full on fun when she evolved. Very cute. Tomorrow is probably when ANDI's gonna evolve. (Oh, I accidentally used the stuffed animal costume on her - not the rare one although.)

Awwwwww....CICI is brushing her teeth with the stuffed animal costume on. Sooo...cute...

*attacks CICI with a cuteness inibitator* Sheesh, I'm not going to get anything done tomorrow at school watching CICI and ANDI.

Now CICI eats burgers, the snack is a healthy apple. She now has some items in her inventory, that she can't use. (The balls are mostly unusable now.) Anyone want a present of a ball?

I wonder, does the second generation keep the items that the first generation have? Oh, and speaking of items, the Japanese to English translation seems to be a bit wonky. The stuffed animal costume was labeled "STUFFED ANIMAL' while the music shakers were labeled "RACKETS". (Oooo...just saw a walkman with headphones in the shop...going for 1500.) Darn it, I probably will not get it before the shop resets it's inventory!

(Oh yeah, I've set the clock one hour ahead, so I can get some stuff done before the tamagotchi's suck up my time.)

Oh....I'm not going to be posting tomorrow...they say it's going to be a brutal snow in my hometown. I'm going to hide under my sheets and shiver...with my stuffed Tarakotchi. I'd keep a pen and paper log, although. I'd update when it's less cold. (*grins* Update hiberation!)

Both of my 'gotchi are asleep. Today's ending stats are:

ANDI

Hungry: 4/4

Fun: 2/4

Training: Full

Age: 3 years

Weight: 19 pounds

I was hoping that Andi would evolve today. The answer is...no! No! No! Tarnation. You know, ANDI, you better not evolve before I'm awake tomorrow.

Humgry:4/4

Fun: 4/4

Training: FULL

Age: 3 years

Weight: 33 pounds

Tomorrow's hopes: ANDI to evolve into something different, and CICI to win a couple of games of slots. (The house is cold, cold as ice...you gave it to me once, now give it to me twice!)

November 23 2005 Logs (eg. It's so cold, I'm freezing my hair follicles off log)

Well, both CICI and ANDI were chased by a turkey for a good portion of the day today. Very disturbing image...but they didn't look scared. I guess Bandai was lazy and just programmed the American thanksgiving into the tamagotchi! (You know, Bandai...a good portion of the consumers are Canadian!)

Oh well. Anyhow, upon waking up, ANDI evolved into a Poochtchi. Very surprising, as I didn't expect to have a Poochtchi to take care of. He was quite hungry, so I fed him some meals, and poop scooped for CICI. (Ever notice that Bandai programmed a 'gotchi with a dog 'gotchi and not a cat one? Bad Bandai, some consumers like cats too!)

I'm getting better at slots, and progressively worster (is that a word?) at heading. The adult tamas are taller, so you don't have much of a chance at hitting the ball when it goes left or right. And they seem to react slower to button presses too...or maybe that's because I had a mild case of frostbite from going outside yesterday...

I bought some toys for CICI and ANDI. (Saw a UFO in the store, and played the life out of the one armed bandits...) A UFO and a wing costume for ANDI. Used the love potion on ANDI, and connected CICI to him. They kissed and about five hearts appearred overhead. Also bought an action figure for CICI, and gave it to her...she looked miserable! Sent it over to ANDI and he was estastic...weird sexist tamagotchi. Also noticed that the cap item's (a free item gotten by connecting together) animation changes for each gender. The females get a southern looking shade hat, whilst the males get a mortarboard (the end-of-school hat). You know, both male and female tamas can go to school too!

UFO travels - Easter Island (the island with the stone heads), a generic tropical island, and what looked like Japan being attacked by Mothra. ANDI had a lot of travels yesterday.

My pen and paper log is a mess.....

END OF DAY STATS

ANDI

Hungry: 4/4

Fun: 4/4

Training: Full

Age: 4 years

Weight: 32 pounds

Points: 327

CICI

Hungry: 4/4

Fun: 4/4

Training: Full

Age: 4 years

Weight: 35 pounds

Points: 1053 (saving up for a silicion beast - eg. a computer)

Bred CICI and ANDI together. The result - two baby boys. Very cute. You can connect them when they are five years old to get them together. I'm going to breed both of them to the matchmakers...anyhow and hope that I get a girl and a guy for the third generation.

The fireworks that happen when they breed are cute...

Battery Information:

You don't lose your tama, even if the battery runs dry. When you change the batteries, you get two options "download" and "reset". Press download to get your tama back.

Gah. Back again. These tamababies are little poop chutes. Every half an hour they make a little deposit on the floor. (I"m thinking of tama-diapering them!)

Won a few rounds of bump with ANDI. Ever notice that the bump game is very inconsistant? Sometimes, when you win 1 round you get 40 pts and sometimes it's 8 pts? And sometimes you can win even when the meter is empty? I won against Mrs. Busybody (eg. the tama-matchmaker!) with no meter on, and my tama was 35 pounds. Maybe the matchmaker had an off day?

Anyhow, these little guys need names.

I'm thinking about Iggi for ANDI's kid, and Niki for CICI's kid. (I like naming tamas with names that end with "i"...and I have an unnatural love of Kill Bill Volume 1, so I feel like naming a tama after one Nikkita Bell/Green!)

Animations: CICI is now coming up to the screen, and giving me a kiss. (Her mouth is pursed, so I think it's a kiss...) The kid and parent animations are really cute...

I'd be back, I'm cooking dinner for us humans!

Played a couple rounds of slots. Won the jackpot (three circles) for 900 pts for both CICI and ANDI. Used the cash to buy a pair of boots for ANDI (he looks so cute stomping around in those wader boots) and that computer for CICI. CICI looks frustrated with herself when she uses the computer although.

Oh yeah, baby poop may be annoying, but it's cute! *steps in another batch of baby poop* Grrrrr....

They are about ready to go to bed, so I leave you with this!

ANDI

Hungry: 4/4

Fun: 4/4

Age: 5

Weight: 32

Points: 674

CICI

Hungry: 4/4

Fun: 4/4

Age: 5

I hope I can take care of the new generation well! (I really want to see a tarakotchi, the leggy tama with big lips!)

I won't post tomorrow on occasion of shopping for xmas presents! (Geez whiz!)

ALL ABOUT TAMABABIES!

Tamagotchi sleeping with their kids are cute. (Must rephrase that!) They are specially cute because both parent and kid are on screen, snoozing away. The kid is in the box, while the mum/dad is in the big blanket. Two "z"'s are present, one big and one small.

ANDI traveled in the UFO with his kid...he and his child visited Japan (that big lug Mothra is still attacking, maybe Japan should cut out it's electricity?) and a generic looking tropical island. I wonder what other items can be used with the tamababies?

When you do something the 'gotchi approve of, both the parent and the kid jumps up and down. They have seperate sunny animations although.

I'm really glad that Bandai took the care to put in the marriage feature into these tamagotchi. Otherwise, the old veterans of 'gotchi may not be interested.

In other news, ANDI's kid got sick twice. I was in the washroom once, and heard a beeping in the bedroom. I saw a tiny tiny skull icon above the kid's head. Two doses of medicines cured that...and then CICI's and ANDI's kid pooped at the same time!

Right now, both tamas are paused...the human is trying to juggle presents and wrap them at the same time. I feel like I should be in the assembly line episode of I Love Lucy. (Kids, ask your parents what that show was...)

I also feel guilty for being morbidly curious about the "going away" animation for CICI and ANDI. I'm curious what they animated it with, and how long it will take. (I plan on breeding several generations worth...suggest a goal to work on for me and my 'gotchi!) :D

Drat! Missed the "going away" animations. Was too tired to stay up for the tama-going away animation, when I woke up today, both CICI and ANDI were gone.

Goodbye and farewell to you both CICI and ANDI. Best of luck on your journey!

Meet IGOR and IGGI! Two twin-tamas with bad attitude. (They woke up, and started crying...) Fed little IGOR four meals, and then played a few games of JUMP. I'm still terrible at playing JUMP...my reflexes are really really rusty...

Will update with more about IGOR and IGGI!

Ok, sorry for the longest pause ever. IGOR and IGGI are doing fine. I'm delibrately spoiling IGGY by not training him when he asks for praise or time outs.

I'm getting better at bump although. I bought a bear for IGGI and gave it to him to see the effects of the sexist little buggers. He made the cutest little grimace when he looked at the bear toy. Very cute. Oh, I gave him his father's action figure and he loved it! (I missed his father's animation of sleeping with a toy because when I won it, he was already an adult.) It's the normal sleeping animation, except the action figure is in the leftmost corner whilst he is snoozing.

IGGI is a champion at bump - maybe version 3 of tamagotchi should have ribbons or prizes for winning games. I'm keeping him chubby with lots of treats and lots of meals.

Can't wait until these little guys grow up! IGOR is a Kinakomotchi, (the little bumpy headed one) and IGGI is an Kuribotchi. (Whew, avoided an ugly star shaped tamagotchi!) You know, these: :) !

I hope one of them is a masktchi and the other a tarakotchi! (Yeah, I'm obsessed!)
