how do i get Oniotchi?

on my tamagotchi connection...

i started a few days ago and today it turned into an adult...i didnt like it / didnt try so i restarted.

this time, my goal is to get Gozarutchi (the ninja)...

i started with Shirobebitchi and now its a Marutchi. i know to get an oniotchi i have to neglect it. but how much? right not i have crap on the screen and 2 empty hearts on hungry / happy and no training. i'm in gen1. is it possible to get oniotichi? how much neglect? what should i do exactly? then from there how much neglect in order to get gozarutchi? thanks!

ive looked at that, but it doesnt address some things ive heard such as some are only in odd or even gens etc...

You shouldn't have reset it. ^^; You see, oniontchi comes from neglect or a marutchi, but only in the even numbered generations (which you can obtain by mating a first generation using the matchmaker or another tamagotchi). On a brighter note, welcome to Tamatalk!
