i just tried debugging my tamagotchi...and i got it about 2 months ago. i put everything back together and just as it's about to become a baby...a signal with a battery and an x comes on the screen. i'm pretty sure the battery's okay...but just to make sure, how long do the batteries last? is there something i need to know about debugging that has to do with the battery?
