My uncle gives me money for Christmas and I saw a BUNCH of cheap US Tama oceans on eBay. :D My mom said mabey I could get one after Christmas. :p But I heard online they are VERY needy tamas. Are they too hard to take care of along /w/ a Connection V.2 and V.1? :furawatchi: (if so, I'll probablly just take the batteries out of my V.1)

I never have another tama going when I have an Ocean/Umi running. They are very needy. When I know I will be away from it for more than 15 minutes, I just pause it. You really need to watch it and keep it with you at all times.

They are the original run of tamagotchis so they do NOT take the batteries that are in these newer Tamagotchis like Connexions, Keitai Connections, V1 or V2.

Oh, that's another thing I noticed about Ocean/Umi, the batteries sometimes do not last especially long. They last a week or so. Just long enough for one good run.

Are you kidding me?! :gozarutchi:  Their batteries only last for a week?!?!

I have changed my mind; I'm gonna' get a Gen1 instead. Oh, how long do the batteries last on Gen1/Gen2s? ^_^

They are supposed to be pretty needy, infact they are suposed to be teh hardest since you need to watch for preditors and keep their water clean, but they are also suposed to be really fun so if I were you I would not let that stop me from getting one.

I wanted a Oceangotchi maybe, but they're all gone now! BOO HOO! Oh well, I kinda wanted a Gen.1 more(I got a Gen1 instead). The old Tamagotchis are so much fun!

I have only just passed the child stage in the Tamagotchi Ocean and I have had it about half a year. They are just so needy.

When people said that they were needy, I thought I would be able to do it. I have never gotton to the adult stage. Ever.

They are so needy ^_^

it's a good thing that you didn't buy one in December, it was a scam. I bought two of them and so did a lot of people, but they never got it.

My batteries in mine lasted longer than a week, but I took them out when I didn't have time to watch it 24/7. So, I don't know how long they would have lasted.
