How old dose your tamagotchi has to be

Well, technically it can always have children (after it has been adult for 2-3 days), assuming you have 2 tamagotchis. If you only have one, though, and it turns into an old timer, the matchmaker will not come, and it will not be able to reproduce. Connections turn into old timers around age 10 or so, and Connexions around age 16.

Usually, the matchmaker will come a little after 10:30 on the morning that he is 7. Select yes, and you've gotta baby...

she shows up, asks you if your lonely(for the connexion) or if you 'love' (for the connection) say yes, she shows you another tamagotchi, if you like it say yes, if you dont, say no and she will come again later. but if you say yes you see both your tamagotchi and his or her partner, you see fireworks(we all know what that represents) and wallah! a baby is born!!!!!

the match maker is great....but make shore when she comes, when you say yes or no, make shore its a good chat. to mate with.....if you get to chose from a mimitchi.........well, that is great!

I heard the matchmaker will stop bugging you at age 10, or 3 days following her first visit.
