Nah, they are not terribly rare. They rarely go over $50 on ebay.
I have a couple now. No, I don't know why! She's not that interesting. Weird characters too. I never end up with the better characters. She's a strange one.

Yes... They aren't totally rare, but they seem tobe reèptitive (of what I've read). It is after some Japanese comedian whos name sounded like Tamagotchi. I think they justcome in one colour-pink!
