How 2 Do Avvies!

Sorry, I should put this on Tips And Tricks but I couldn't get in!

Anyway, I was just browsing Tamatalk and then it came to me! Make your own avvies and save other peoples time! Maybe this wont work on other peoples computers but all you need is a paint or bitmap program and a My Pictures file! O ya, you also need a steady hand! If you can help it try and use a mouse instead of a pad for it. Just make a nice piccie of your tama on paint, save to My Pictures and log on to tamatalk. From there go to the avvies section and click on "Browse". Then your My Pictures file should come on. Just choose your piccie and click open or whatever. Then hey presto, homemade avvie! Unfortunately I dont know if it is possible to do avvies for other people like this but if someone could tell me *hint, hint* . I think it also works with photos if you have a digital camera!

Here's a tip: If you have a good pixelised picture of your preferred Tama character, go to Paint and use the large square brush tip to simulate pixels and then do the colors afterwards. That's how I made my Hiratchi one here. (pokes avatar)

But I did this new one on PaintShopPro. It works better than paint but its not very easy to use! This was my first go!

Well, I have Paint Shop Pro 9, and it's pretty easy once you get used to it. I made my avatar on Paint Shop Pro 9/Animation Shop 3.
