Please do a search before posting threads, as this question has been asked many, many times. It has to be an adult for at least 48-72 hours in order to mate with another tamagotchi.

Yes, also read the FAQ section, Its when u connect and give each other presents, love hears apprear. That means they are married.

 
You must either keep connecting with another adult (if yours is an adult) of opposite gender until it has 4 hearts on your friends list, or say yes to the matchmaker when she shows up. :D
