Problem with a code and items

I got my tamagotchi connection version 2 for Christmas so I am a newbie to it although I have 3 other tamagotchi connection v1s and I know quite a lot about them but I have a problem with the love potion code.

I have typed in the hair gel code and got the hair gel, I've done the same with the stuffed animal, the steak and the cake and have gotten them all.I have tried typing in the love potion code but it just puts the price there and doesn't let me have the love potion for free.I have got the costume though so how can I get the love potion?

I have another question how do you use your items.I know how to wrap them/unwrap them and trash them but I can't figure out how to use my items not the food though I know how to eat the food.Please help me!

I have the same problem...

i know the problem. if you dont want an item then you can enter that code in last and you wont get that item. in your case you entered in the love potion code last so you didnt get it. to use the items just go to the items and press B to use it. hope this helsps!! ^_^

i know you got a rare costume and you have that insted of the last item

i got the love potion, just 3 times, 2 sec. then punch in the code wich is bcbacaba.

some other codeshint after you get the love potion you will get a "rare" item automatically ,you also need the whole cake.
