how much generations does a tamagotchi go up to?

im just wondering becuse me tamagotchi version 1 is 37 generations and my tamagochi version 2 is 2 generations <_< :huh:

i dont think there is a number of generations...if ur V1 made it 2 37 it could most likely go to 100 or even 200!

i heard people get to 99 but i never heard what happens after that, thats my goal though, i want to know what happens
