To put in the codes, you go to the shop[ and when it's at the screen with the shop person, you press (a) once, and then keep pressing (a) three or four times repeatedly, and then the shopkeeper will make a ;00 face. then you type in the code, and you get your item.
As for why you dont get points, are you playing the games well and still not getting points?
