Now, do you compete with other tama owners when you play the bump game?? like can they see my character on their screen. Like we are really competing but not connecting our tamas?

i would like to know.

No, you don't compete with other "real" tamagotchis when you're playing bump. The character you play against is just randomly selected.

 
yep she is right it is just a randomly selected computer. and what i find that helps when you do the bump game is that you make them eat lots and lots of food so that they will bulk up. dont worry they will lose the weight really fast.

Yeah, true. I give my Tama LOADS of snacks (sometimes to the point where he gets two cavities) before I play Bump, otherwise I ALWAYS lose.
