tamagotchi died

how old does the tamagotchi get before it dies?

my daughter went to sleep and when she woke up her tamagotchi was dead. it was healthy and happy and 5 years old. Is that the age it dies if it doesnt find a companion?

No they can live longer then that. Mines 7. Is it possible that she had fed the pet to many snack and was over weight? I heard that they can die from being fed to much. But I'm not 100% sure...

thanks just knowing they can live longer is good.I know it was in perfect health when my kids went to sleep i'm pretty sure now that my son messed with my daughters pet when they woke up. (And yes they can die from overfeeding)-Any chance if you know are you supposed to disipline when they poop? h34r:

Not when they poop. If you see the little problem icon lite up (the bottom right hand corner) and you pets in perfect health and everything, thats uaually when your pet needs to be disaplined. The icon should go away after that. That's what I do and it works.

You can also pody train your pet. But it has to be done when it's a baby or when it's a child. If you see little "smell waves" on both sides of your pet, take it to the bathroom and you'll see it use a poddy. The poddy will look like a duck when it's a baby and it will change into a regular toliet when it gets older.
