You need to have 5 friends on your list to get the matchmaker? And once the match maker comes does he/she give you an option to mate with a friend on the list? :(

 
no, matchmaker brings her own mate for you so you dont need friends for it. She comes after your tama has been an adult for 48-72 days...she came for me at age 7

 
I have two tamagotchis and they r going to mate in about 4-5 days, yay!!!!!!

 
she meant tama days like:

for people a minute is an hour of tama time

 
wrote days since I was thinking about something else but we all know I mean't hours so why waste the time to correct me? Anyway, yes, 48-72 HOURS. And still, you don't need to connect with another tamagotchi to get a baby.

 
o ok cool...mine just turned into and adult so..in like 2 human days its going to mate? can you mate with a friend though?

 
the matchmacker will come when it's 6-7 years old at 10:00am,3:00pm and 7:00pm. WARNING: Your adault tama will go back to it's home planet after a day the baby was born. It will leave at midnight.
