not sure if this has been asked before, but are ver.2 tamas compatible with ver.5 ones from japan? i recently ordered a ver.5 off of ebay not realizing my mother had purchased me a ver.2 has a christmas gift. if they are compatible to be friends and function together then that would be awesome! let me know, thanks :mellow:

p.s. im only asking because i havent received my ver.5 in the mail yet and i am so eager to find out right away. :rolleyes:

Erm... Version 5s do not exist... ounds like you've been scammed. I dont think japanese tamas can connect to american ones either...

If yous ay you have got a V5, can you show us a picture of the Tama? You may have ordered a Cho jinsei... If not, you have purchased a fake. :L
