My tama is an Otokitchi (female Old Timer). Her name is Ann. I connected with my brother's Ojitchi (male Old Timer) and they mated right away, when before they were only 5 smilies on the friend's list before they connected. I thought Old Timers couldn't mate. Also, any ideas for names for the new baby? It is a he.

 
i think you can be too old to get a matchmaker but you can still mate with friends

 
It's not unusual for old timers to mate. They can mate at any age, but only if you have 2 tamagotchis that are old and the opposite gender (like you did). But the matchmaker will not come for a single old timer.
