It's also annoying because there's no specific way to get certain characters. I hate how people obsess over it.

Well i do know how to get a boy or girl baby from the match maker, this seems to work only on Version 1 not Version 2

yeah well it is half half chance of being either. it does get annoying but then it also helps on how to get get it but it doesnt always work

When I first got a V1 I used the website TamaSquare - for excellent and accurate V1 character info translated from the BanDai TamaPlus site and raising guide:

It has really good tips (well, more like hints) on how to get the V1 characters, and I found that if I followed them closely, they pretty much worked every single time (and still do!).

I've not (yet) taken the time to try to work out a way to get certain characters on the V2 - I admit it - I like the suprise...!
