Well, Technically, it dosen't matter how old your Tamagotchi is. The codes only work if you have VS.2, and if you go into the shop, press A seven times until the shopkeeper cries, then type in the correct code. (Pressing codes your not sure of won't do anything). By the way, another problem is you might not know which button is which. So, The first button is A, The second button is B, and The third button is C. PM me for further questions. =)
