Yes i agree - I really don't like those polls or even topics like that. In fact they are not encouraged and I know Admin is not in favour of them, and closed one only last week. I don't think that they do any good at all, and they probably do upset more people than not. They also have a tendency to lead to fighting within in the topic. TamaTalk is a great place with heaps of really nice, helpful, informative members, why single out just a few of these?

I think they shouldnt be allowed.... coz some people are really nice, but just shy, and then they feel down, and then the people that are selected feel really proud, when maybe only 2 people like them.... ^_^

 
tamagirl06 is right. Some people are really shy. If I was a tamaguide I would close down as many of those mesages as i possibly could, but i'm not a tamaguide. Getting rid ofthose messages would be my first priority.

Exactly... I mean whenever I see one of those polls I think Great another way for people to ignore me 100%... That shouldnt happen to anyone... not even me.... :p

It is the same with me and I won't even get chosen to be a tama guide because I am so unpopular.

 
Since topics about Member Popularity are not encouraged and tend to be closed, I think it dangerous to start a topic complaining about Member Popularity topics - we're in danger of developing a "them and us" situation here. Both topics are now closed.
