How to put off the costume?

No to both the questions. You have to wait until it goes to bed for it to come off, and then it will only be put back on if you do it yourself.

If you don't like the costume, you can change your Tama's little clock to it's bed/sleep time - 10.30pm for example; when it is asleep and the costume is off, you can change the time again - back to normal - and your Tama will be awake without the costume!
