Do you know if the antenna that haves the V3 is for something, or is only decoration? :D

sorry i can't help you i've haven't been on this site in 2 months and i just found

out they had V3's

It is purely decoration! I have opened up a Keitai. There is nothing there. So it's just for looks. ;)

I just wanted to tell you that it is NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT decoration. try looking at the v3 pictures again. go down, and you'll find a link to a website from the administration. the website says this ( I copied and pasted)

As Bandai gears up for the third wave of its popular virtual pet Tamagotchi Connection, the focus will be on building the characters behind the toy through a new on-line world. TamaTown.com will not only bring a new play pattern and level of interactivity to the toy, it will also help to solidify the characters in kids' imaginations, setting the stage for Bandai's planned licensing program, which will launch later this year.

After entering TamaTown, kids can use the passwords and points they received from playing with their handheld Tamagotchis to partake in various online activities, such as shopping, watching a movie in the theater, playing games in the arcade, eating in the food court, or even meeting the parents and grandparents of their virtual pet. And the exchange of points and passwords works both ways. For example, after giving Gotchi points to the Tamagotchi King online, a password allows kids to visit his castle where they can then pick up new passwords to unlock souvenirs in the Tamagotchi egg itself. Additional passwords will be promoted on-pack as well as via advertising and in-store marketing.

The website goes live at the end of January, just before the version-three eggs hit shelves at an SRP of US$14.99. Bandai is also looking at building in community features later this year that would allow kids to interact with each other on the site.

Tamagotchi V3.0 includes four new games and 20 brand new characters, bringing the total up to 52. Kids can also connect their pets with others via infrared technology so their pets can play games, share gifts and become friends. Once the virtual pet grows up, it can even hook up with a friend to create a brand new second-generation character.

Bandai signed on United Media to handle the licensing program for Tamagotchi's characters, and will announce its first licensees early this year. United is still on the lookout for publishing, room décor, and health and beauty licensees as well as promotions partners to deliver product in Q3 and Q4.

this is true! ask the admin. yourself!

But i think is only decoration.. It looks cool!

SaltyAJ: Do you think it´ll have wi-fi connection? I think it works with the codes that you get from tamatown.com, you put them in your tamagotchi and you can do extra things... or something like that... I don´t know :(

what does that have to do with the antenna being fake or not?

ive already read this article. and it says nothing about the antenna being used at all.

and since you havent opened up one, you wouldnt know.

and the antenna on the ketai doesnt mean anything, because it could be coming out of the same place the ir comes out of.

and the article is true but that doesnt mean the antenna isnt for decor.

im going to use this example..

just because a game is on a cell phone doesnt mean it helps make the calls!

I think its just decoration just like with the season 2 digivices.

come on why would they stick an antenna on there for know reason plus i read a website that said it was for something - why do you think it is decoration anyways

I know for a fact is purely decoration. I have a clear yellow V3. There is nothing in the antenna. :p If you get a chance to see the clear one, take a good look.

Hmm.. On Keitai I think it's for connecting to your phone, otherwise for decoration or maybe to connect...

Sorry can't help you there havn't yet got a version 3!

and since u havn't opened one up you wouldn't know
umm yes I have

and I've realized this: not completely fake, can connect from farther away and to phones.
