V2 Production Stopped?

So I went to Wally World(Wal*Mart) today and asked if they had any Tamagotchis. The woman who works in the toy department told me that they didn't have any and aren't getting anymore in. Ever.

I'm wondering if it's just that they aren't selling V2s anymore, or if they're just waiting until the V3 comes out.

I don't know about other stores like Toys R Us and Target, but both the Wally Worlds I've been to don't sell them and don't plan on it.

What do you guys think about this? What have you heard from stores other than Wally World?

I personally think they're keeping V2s off the shelves and just waiting for V3s to come out. However, I know K-Mart still sells V1s, but not V2s.

well as of last week they were still getting in shipments of v2s in the toyrus here. I have to phone them tomorrow and ask them when they are getting their next shipment.
