I'm clueless about most everything in this world, but I would REALLYREALLYREALLY like to know how to shut these darn things off in the middle of the night! (Mine go to sleep at 1:00 AM!

I think you may have the time set wrong... Anyway, if you have a connection, you can hold the 'a' and 'b' buttons to pause it. If you need to change the time, press 'b' at the normal screen to go to time, and then press 'a' and 'c' to change the time. G'luck! (a is first button, b is second button, c is last button)

Your time is set wrong because tamagotchis go to sleep between 8-10 pm. Or, you might have the time almost right but you are using military time. There is a spot where the growth charts are that has a copy of the instructions if you need to know how to set it to regular time.
