does the generation ever change?

I saw on someones info thing that their tamas generation was 6. Does it change or does it just depend on which Tamagotchi you have?

yes it does change. mine is on the 8th generation!

it changes when ur tamagotchi has a baby and then the mother or father dies... :huh:

everytime your tama goes through the cycle, baby, tot, teen, adult, parent and then leaves the child, the child becomes the next generation ^_^
